MaterialPort has been developed in cooperation with Lakeuden Etappi, Vestia, Rosk’n Roll, Pirkanmaan jätehuolto and Lounais-Suomen jätehuolto, so it meets the needs of all companies operating in similar operating environments.
MaterialPort and its add-ons offer significant benefits to the daily operations of waste management companies. Many of the system’s main functions, such as the electronic waste transfer notes, waste load inspection, authority reporting or inventory management, have previously needed their own separate application. MaterialPort eliminates this need and they can all be conveniently and easily managed via one system that operates as a cloud service.
MaterialPort makes the scales operations significantly more efficient as a result of the operating logics specified together with the waste management companies. In addition to this, the system includes diverse functions for the management of the system and its users, diverse inventory management functions, authority reports as well as a waste transfer note required for waste transport in electronic format. Legislative requirements concerning GDPR have already been considered.
There are also diverse add-ons available for MaterialPort which further extend the operating possibilities. The MaterialPort Station add-on allows use to be extended to waste centres and for consumer use with a separate mobile application. Dealings at waste management centres and waste centres can be further automated by introducing the MaterialPort Lense registration plate identification service, the MaterialPort Control access control add-on and the MaterialPort Signage information display application.
